and first 36 seconds of track 3. Disc 3, track 1 starting at 0:24 to end
Disc 3, track 2, 0:00 - 2:07
I used shnid 95346 to patch the following;
Disc 1, track 9, 3:33 - 4:03
Disc 3, track 8, 2:30 - end
Disc 3, track 9, 0:00 - 0:11
Pitch corrected in set 2... set 1 was OK.
This fine show, neglected for many years, is now back in circulation.
Love this Scarlet>Fire. It was this version that turned me into a Deadhead as a freshman in college in 1985. Listening to this gave me a glimpse into

the world of improvisation and music with no boundaries. I will always love it and no matter how many times I hear it, I will never tire of it. Also just as a matter of record... the dead played Spanish Jam just 3 months before this show at Nassau, so the break out of Might as Well was a bigger deal.

Lost in the excitment of the first Might as Well in the Brent era is the first Spanish Jam in even longer, which is worth listening to in particular as

it transitions into Truckin' rather distinctively. Pretty early in the Man Smart, Woman Smarter run, which I have to admit wore me out after a while. This version is pretty peppy, perhaps because Bob doesn't overdo the vocal inflection.
